Kaolin White Clay, also know as China White Clay, provides excellent slip for shaving soaps. It is an extremely mild clay and is excellent for dry or sensitive skin. Since it does not have drawing powers, it is suitable for any skin type.


Kaolin White Clay provides the most gentle exfoliation in Cold Process Soap and works well in Melt and Pour soap, too. Use approximately one teaspoon per pound, more or less depending on your preference but this is a good starting point.
