While we do our very best to offer you only the highest quality oils available by purchasing from the finest wholesalers in the industry, this does not guarantee that any oil will be consistent from one batch to another as they may be within a manufacturers particular tolerance for a particular product. We personally and extensively test each fragrance in CP soap before to ensure it meets our high standards for quality and stability.  In addition, it is up to the customer to fully research the proper procedure for the particular formulation they are creating including safety and government regulations.  Oregon Trail is not liable for materials lost due to incorrect formulation or measurements.  We must believe our customer knows their product and correct formulation thereof.  By purchasing ingredients sold by Oregon Trail Soapers Supply, you agree that you are knowledgeable in the safe and proper use of these ingredients and products. You will assume all product liability for the final products and creations you make using ingredients purchased from Oregon Trail Soapers Supply.

 

Pricing:
Product prices and specifications are based on information available at the time of posting and are subject to change without notice. All dimensions, weight and carton counts are subject to standard deviations. Please be aware that products may have a slight variation in color from item to item or batch to batch. However, the excellent quality of our products will always reflect our high standards.

 

Please order samples before purchasing in larger quantities if you are uncertain about any product.. We have generous 2 oz. fragrance samples available for purchase if you wish to try before you buy. If you would like a sniffy of any fragrance on absorbent paper, please send a self addressed, stamped envelope with two stamps and we will provide ONE sniffy.

 

Shopping Security:
Online shopping at our web site is both secure and private. We have implemented security procedures to ensure your information is always protected. All orders are encrypted and sent through a secure server using SSL (Secure Socket Layer) technology to prevent information from being intercepted. No information is ever sold or distributed to any entity, you may rest assured your privacy is protected to the fullest extent.

 

Order Fulfillment:

Our order processing time varies based on work load. Orders during holiday seasons may require a longer processing time. If a customer requests immediate processing in the form of "Next Day" or "2nd Day Air" shipping, a service charge of 20.00 will be added due to the extra time and paperwork involved.

 

Payment Options:
Oregon Trail Soap Supplies & More is proud to accept Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Paypal, Debit Cards, Money Orders and Checks. All payment are in U.S. funds. COD and Faxed Checks are not accepted at this time and we have had to discontinue online check drafts. Orders will not be filled if payment is not received. Pending orders are held for 14 days and then cancelled if we do not receive any contact.  We do not accept payments made by Paypal with an unverified address, no exceptions, please do not ask.

NSF Checks:
Checks returned for non-sufficient funds will incur a $25 processing fee. Since this fee is charged by the bank when the check is returned the first time, the customer is still responsible for this charge, even if the check clears the second time.


Shipping:
At this time we are not accessible to the public for pickups and DO NOT SHIP COD, PLEASE DO NOT EVEN ASK! You may request expedited order processing using the comments field of our secure shopping cart. The fee for expedited processing is a minimum of 10% or 20.00 as explained above.
An incorrect address will result in a $14.00 redelivery fee so please take care when entering all necessary information to assure prompt and accurate delivery.

NOTE: We cannot under any circumstances ship a fragrance with a flashpoint lower than 200 degrees by Post Office, Overnight, 2 day or any method other than via Ground. If you choose USPS, we will have to change the shipping to Ground to comply with the law.
 
Restocking Fee                  
If an order is cancelled after it is placed a restock charge of $20.00 or 10%, whichever is less will be asessed. The cancellation must occur within the first 24 hours.  

International customers are welcome to order via email, or fax with billing information to 541-582-8995 or order through the cart and choose "Other" as your shipping option. The actual shipping charges will be adjusted after the order is packaged and an accurate total is available. We add a $5.00 handling charge to international orders to cover the additional documentation and time needed to complete these orders. All international orders will all be shipped in HDPE plastic, not glass. You may elect to insure items and we strongly encourage this. Proof of shipment will be faxed or scanned and emailed to you if necessary. We only ship via Global Priority or Flat Rate if the contents warrant it.

We do not ship to ANY UNVERIFIED Paypal address. Unfortunately we have had to do this due to problems in the past. NO EXCEPTIONS. Thank you for understanding.

The contents of your package are always carefully packed to help insure safe delivery of your order. We have no control over the handling of a package once it leaves our facility so we strongly encourage insuring your order. If an order is turned over to a freight forwarder, our responsibility for damage ends at that point, we have no control over how the Freight Forwarder will care for it from that point and we have no recourse in the case of damage.  Insure you have a safe place to deliver your order to as we cannot be responsible for theft when the order arrives.

 

Shipping Costs:
We do our best to accurately calculate the shipping costs based on tables provided to us by the shippers, however, with the exception noted below, we will not charge, nor will we refund a difference of $3.00 or less. Please note exception.

EXCEPTION: If an order is changed after it has been placed, a handling charge of $3.00 will be assessed and the shipping adjusted to the new, accurate total. This is the ONLY handling charge we assess and it is due to repackaging, rebilling and paperwork involved only, it is not meant to penalize. We welcome the business and try to please.
 
Please note - when checking out, you must be sure you select your correct zip code from the zip-code finder in the shopping cart and then select your correct ship-to zone rate from the drop down menu. At checkout you will be asked to confirm that you understand you will be charged the correct shipping fees even if you fail to check the correct zone plus a 2.00 correction fee that we must pay when adding a charge to an order.  It is not meant to be punative.

We reserve the right to change shipment type based on how quickly we can get the order to you and shipping regulations. If you have only one type of delivery available to you, please note it in the comments section so we do not change the shipping method without contacting you.  If you provide an incorrect shipping address, we will not be responsible for the return shipment to you.  If you decide not to pay for a return shipment, your original postage fee will not be refunded and a 15% restock fee will be asessed.  If it is our error, naturally we will pay all costs to correct it.
Multiple Boxes: If it is necessary to ship an order in multiple boxes, the shipping total will be adjusted to reflect the new shipping total and we will bill the difference.  We will notify you of the amount before billing.  Unfortunately, our cart is not smart enough to know this so we have to do it ourselves.
 
Damage Claims:
The contents of your package are always carefully packed to help insure safe delivery of your order. Inspect all package at time of acceptance. You must contact us within 48 hours of receiving of your package if anything has been damaged or lost during shipment. If you have elected to ship via UPSP and have not chosen insurance, you must absorb the loss. If it is by FedEx, UPS or other carrier You must save all packing materials and the original shipping box to process the claim. Our carriers require that the damaged items be retained for 5-7 working days to give them time to inspect the packing if they choose to. Absolutely no refunds will be issued if you return an item without prior authorization, it will be discarded.

 

Returns:
Due to the nature of our products, we have a no-refund, no-return policy. We cannot resell a product once you have received it. Please take care in ordering to be sure your order is complete and accurate before submitting the order. Thank you for your business, we look forward to serving you.
