These dark brown specks are an amazingly gentle exfoliant, a pretty addition to M&P soaps as well as Cold Process soaps. They could also be sprinkled on soaps for a decorative touch. They could be added to a swirl color for even more interest. They are made by drying and milling the vanilla pod after the "meat" of the vanilla is removed. Still, they have a very faint, pleasant aroma of vanilla. 1/4 cup is 1.3 ounces.
