This is an excellent clay for firming and toning the skin. Southwest Warmth Clay removes excess oil and is great as a facial masque in concentrations of 5-30% clay and the balance water. For an extra special facial mask, use aloe gel.


It makes a wonderful natural colorant in soaps, too. Be sure to make a paste with water before using in your soap as with any clay it tends to draw moisture and will leave your CP soap with whitish areas in it. You do not need to add a lot of water, a loose paste will work beautifully and your soap will be gorgeous as well. Use it to make a really pretty swirl.
