Sapmoss -Aveda Type-Fragrance Oil

Sapmoss -Aveda Type-Fragrance Oil

This ultra-sophisticated fragrance is our version of Aveda's fabulous products with a tiny bit of poetic license taken in that we chose to incorporate a tiny sweet note in our version. This one-of-a-kind fragrance has deep bottom notes of musk, patchouli, sandalwood, cedar wood and vanilla, middle notes of lily, cyclamen and a touch of rose, top notes are a combination of florals and earthy scents. This is so beautiful you have to simply try it to believe it and it soaps like a dream.

I have tried a few SapMoss versions, and this is 100% the best. If you miss the Aveda scent, you won't be disappointed with this.

I used to love the Aveda sapmoss fragrance and this is the best dupe I've found. It's a great unisex fragrance. I find it really hard to describe scents, but this is woodsy, mossy, with something that makes it kind of magical. Don't trust sniffing it from the bottle, it needs to be used for its complexity to come through. My family especially likes it in laundry products, but we also use it in bath products. Oregon Trail Soaps is my absolute favorite place to buy fragrance oils. I have never been disappointed with any of their scents.

I've never smelled the Aveda fragrance and had no idea what to expect; I bought this after reading chatter on the scent in a soaping forum. It. Is. So. Good. I dabbed some on my arm when it came to live with it (that's how I tell if I really like a scent for longer than a sniff), and I've just been sniffing my arm all day. It's woody, earthy, green, AND ever so slightly sweet. It smells like the soap and lotion section of a Natural Grocer; where you walk in and you can smell all the fancy essential oils and the resins and expensive natural conditioners and beeswax candles, and nothing you can buy smells like that because the smell is a combination of all of it softly blending together. Except this one DOES smell like that. I just soaped with it, and it's just so gorgeous. It's a toss up between this and "Herb Garden" for "new favorite scent."
